            Hello! My name is Erin Pringle and I am very excited about teaching your third grade student! I attended school in Lucia Mar Unified School District and received my degree/teaching credential from Cal Poly. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance at Cal Poly. This is my tenth year of teaching and I have taught kindergarten, first, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades.  I am one of six siblings and I have five younger brothers!

            In my free time, I enjoy trips to the beach and camping. I love teaching and I am thrilled to be teaching at Ocean View with a fabulous team of teachers and staff! I am honored to be working with your child this year on their journey to academic success.

            I provide students with nurturance and a sense of respect by giving them frequent opportunities to succeed in classroom work.  I will be utilizing cooperative learning groups, partner collaboration, and independent assignments to build skills for success in the future. A sense of direction is also an important focus for students. I will encourage students to set goals, make decisions and identify consequences.
